Since 2008, the IPS Federal Fuels team has successfully provided fuel system design, maintenance, repair, and new construction services for the US Department of Defense. Working with the various contracting agencies under multiple execution strategies, IPS has performed work to support military facilities across the globe. Our team understands the strict safety and quality requirements established by the government, and excels at exceeding stringent documentation requirements associated with the DoD fuel system construction. 

 

IPS employs highly skilled project managers, engineers, and subject matter experts with specialized training in fuel system design and construction. Members of our Federal Fuels team hold certifications to include American Petroleum Institute (API) in 653/510/570, Certified Weld Inspector (CWI), USACE QC Management for Contractors, and ASME certified NDE inspectors, ensuring full compliance with API, ASME, UFC, and UFGS standards.

In addition to our field execution services, IPS strengthens our capabilities with utilization of our 100,000 SF shop fabrication facility. Capabilities include shop fabrication of ASME coded tanks, process piping, off-loading/loading assemblies, and complex steel structures. In-house fabrication enables IPS to better control project deliverables, helps maintain schedule, and minimizes disruptions to base services.
